Some of you may know that I ordered a Ford Maverick Hybrid truck last October and, due to Ford’s drastic underestimate of the demand and supply chain shortages, I’ve been waiting all this time for it to get built. I’ve been eager to get it all along, but now that I’m committed to the RV life, it has become urgent. I need a vehicle I can tow behind the RV so that I don’t have to take the RV everywhere I go and disconnect it from my campsite for every errand. I want to flat tow because it’s much easier than loading a car onto a trailer or dolly. Serendipitously, unbeknownst to me when I ordered, the Maverick Hybrid is one of the few automatic transmission vehicles that can be flat towed without special modifications (apart from a base plate and braking).
Sooooo… I was told that my vehicle was being built last week. Then I got these two emails within a couple of hours of each other. #SoConfused
