Vivian's RV Vignettes

How my day is going.

Not only did my tow dolly tire blow out, but I managed to lock myself out of my RV with the engine running on a very narrow shoulder at the side of the road, about 100 miles from anywhere. Thank goodness for friendly Texas State Troopers who broke into the side door with their hard entry kit for me.

Update: It took all afternoon for Triple A to reach me, but I now have a new tire and made it to my campground for the night. Unfortunately, when the tire blew it also tore off part of the cowling and the brake light/ turn signal. I’m going to need to get that fixed somehow. But at least for now I can continue on my way.
